Healing, like water, always finds a path.
Virtual Practice serving all of North Carolina!
When therapy was not designed with you in mind, finding the right therapist matters.
For generations, Black men have been told to suppress emotion, and neurodivergent individuals have been expected to conform to systems that overlook their strengths. At The Creek Counseling, we believe therapy should adapt to the person—not the person to therapy. That is why we provide culturally responsive care for Black men and boys and affirming, individualized support for neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults.
Our areas of focus include:
Life Challenges
Trauma
Grief

Why We Are Here
At The Creek Counseling, we believe that healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves.
We created this practice because we wanted the freedom to provide therapy that reflects our values, our experiences, and our commitment to seeing every client as a whole person—not a diagnosis, stereotype, or checklist.
As an interracial married couple, we understand that every person experiences the world differently. Those perspectives have shaped the way we practice therapy: with curiosity instead of assumptions, compassion instead of judgment, and a belief that there is never only one path to healing.
Together, we built The Creek Counseling to be a place where people feel seen, heard, and respected exactly as they are. Because healing is not about becoming someone else. It is about discovering the strength that has been within you all along.
Healing, like water, always finds a path.
